Story behind the painting
Ame no Oto, Japanese for “the sound of rain,” is an original abstract painting in which color and rhythm come together. Warm tones such as burgundy red, golden yellow, deep purple, and soft white form a dynamic composition of paint dots that evoke the gentle fall of raindrops.
The dot technique gives the artwork movement and depth: up close, the structure and individual colors are clearly visible, while from a distance they merge into a harmonious whole. This layered effect allows the painting to remain engaging time and again.
